Author Guidelines
Prepare an original manuscript relevant to Islamic economics, sharia finance, business, accounting, or related areas in the journal scope. The work must not be under consideration elsewhere, and all authors must approve its submission.
Manuscript preparation
- Use a concise title, a self-contained abstract describing the purpose, methods, findings, and contribution, and relevant keywords.
- Provide author names, affiliations, and corresponding-author contact details in the submission metadata.
- Organize the manuscript into an introduction, relevant literature or conceptual framework, methods, results and discussion, conclusion, and references. Adapt the structure for conceptual papers and reviews.
- Number and label tables and figures, identify units and data sources, and ensure all citations match the reference list.
- Use a consistent citation style and verify bibliographic details, quotations, and links.
Research transparency
Explain sampling, data periods, variables, models, and analytical procedures. Identify the sources and dates of financial data; distinguish empirical findings from sharia interpretation. State limitations, funding, conflicts of interest, and access restrictions on data. Obtain consent and ethical approval where applicable, and permission for third-party material.
Final checklist
Check originality, language, references, permissions, and the completeness of metadata. Submit through Online Submission. Editors may return incomplete or out-of-scope manuscripts before peer review.
