Publication Ethics

Nash wa Riwayah: Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics. All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers, are expected to uphold academic integrity, honesty, transparency, and responsibility.

Duties of Authors:

1. Authors must submit original manuscripts that have not been published or submitted elsewhere.
2. Authors must present accurate research data and avoid fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism.
3. Authors must properly cite all sources used in the manuscript.
4. Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
5. Authors must participate in the peer-review process and respond to reviewers' comments professionally.

Duties of Editors:

1. Editors are responsible for making fair and objective editorial decisions.
2. Editors must evaluate manuscripts based on academic quality, originality, relevance, and contribution to the field.
3. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
4. Editors must avoid conflicts of interest in the editorial process.

Duties of Reviewers:

1. Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.
2. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts under review.
3. Reviewers should identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the authors.
4. Reviewers must decline review assignments when there is a conflict of interest.

Any form of academic misconduct, including plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, and unethical authorship practices, will be handled seriously by the editorial board.
