Plagiarism Policy

Nash wa Riwayah: Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies is committed to preventing plagiarism and maintaining academic integrity in all published articles.

All submitted manuscripts will be checked for similarity using plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts with a high similarity index may be returned to the author for revision or rejected by the editorial board.

The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used academic terms. However, the editorial board may also consider the quality and context of similarity, not only the percentage.

Forms of plagiarism include:

1. Copying text from other sources without proper citation.
2. Using ideas, data, or findings from others without acknowledgment.
3. Submitting another person's work as one's own.
4. Self-plagiarism or reusing previously published work without proper citation.
5. Paraphrasing extensively without proper reference.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original and properly cited. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism may be rejected or retracted, depending on the stage of publication.
