Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Nash wa Riwayah: Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies will go through an editorial screening and peer-review process before publication.

The journal applies a double-blind peer review system. In this process, the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.

Review Process:

1. The editor checks the manuscript's suitability with the focus and scope of the journal.
2. The manuscript is screened for originality and compliance with author guidelines.
3. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to reviewers.
4. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, relevance, academic contribution, and compliance with publication ethics.
5. The editor makes the final decision based on reviewers' recommendations.

Editorial decisions may include:

1. Accepted
2. Accepted with minor revisions
3. Revisions required
4. Resubmit for review
5. Rejected

The review process normally takes approximately 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the availability of reviewers and the quality of the submitted manuscript.
