About the Journal

Contemporary Islamic Teaching and Learning Report (CITLR) is an academic journal devoted to research and scholarly discussion on Islamic education, teaching practice, and learning in contemporary contexts. It provides a forum for educators, researchers, and practitioners to examine how Islamic educational values inform curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and educational innovation.

The journal welcomes original research, critical literature reviews, and evidence-informed discussions using qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Its focus includes Islamic religious education, teacher development, digital learning, inclusive education, and educational leadership in schools, madrasahs, pesantren, universities, and community settings.
