Author Guidelines
Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to Sharia and Society (SAS) must ensure that their manuscripts follow the journal’s focus and scope, academic standards, and publication ethics.
General Requirements:
- The manuscript must be original and has not been published or submitted to another journal.
- The manuscript must be relevant to the focus and scope of Sharia and Society.
- The manuscript may be written in English or Indonesian.
- The manuscript should be written in clear academic language.
- The manuscript should follow the journal template.
- The manuscript should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including references.
Manuscript Structure:
- Title
- Author name, affiliation, and email address
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Research Method
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
The abstract should be written in one paragraph, between 150 and 250 words, and should clearly describe the purpose, method, main findings, and contribution of the study. Keywords should consist of 3 to 5 words or phrases.
References should use APA 7th Edition style. Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
All manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system. Manuscripts that do not follow the author guidelines may be returned to the author for revision before being processed for review.
